I haven't painted a lot of orange objects before. It doesn't come through in the photo very well, really, but as I was painting I was surprised how much green I had to put into the areas on those bright orange gourds where it begins to turn away from the light. These are some of the drawings I've done there. They're all done on Canson Bristol Paper (24 x 18in).
